Nimco was founded by two lifelong friends, NiNi and Milo, who turned their shared passion for gemstones into a vibrant brand. The name “Nimco” is inspired by nimbus, symbolizing the radiant halo of energy crystals use to connect with the universe. It also combines the initials of the founders, reflecting Nimco as a vessel of energy, emotion, and creativity.

The Story Behind Nimco

Nini and Milo met as college roommates at the prestigious China University of Geosciences, where they both majored in jewelry design and appraisal.

 • Nini was born into a family with deep roots in the jadeite industry. She has obtained certifications as a GIC Designer and a GIC Jadeite Appraiser and has been a member of the Arts and Crafts Association since 2019. She has been running a jadeite company for six years. With a wealth of experience managing a jadeite company, Nini combines tradition with innovation in her designs.

 • Milo is the creative force behind the independent designer brand Mellow Art , which she has led for five years. Her journey has taken her to study at GIA in the United States, GIC in China, and marketing programs in Canada. Exploring multicultural influences in London, Seoul, and beyond, Milo brings a global perspective to her craft.

In 2015, a transformative jewelry study tour opened their eyes to the magical allure of gemstones. Among all the treasures they encountered, it was crystals that truly captivated them. Over the next decade, their passion for crystals deepened as they explored, studied, and perfected their understanding of these natural wonders.
